Making the Sound

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]s you may know I love my Surface RT. The sound from it is really great and better then the iPad that I had but the speakers are on the side which doesn’t send the sound directly to me.  So I decided I needed to do something about it.  I went to Thingiverse and found the Thing files needed to make some amplifier ears.  So I downloaded the files and started the 3D printing on our Makerbot.

Here is the results, a pair of perfectly fitting ears. With them mounted on my Surface the sound is amazing.  You just don’t get this with an iPad.
